South Bend residents can apply for city’s Affordable Connectivity Program
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Residents living in low-income households can get help paying for internet through the City of South Bend’s Affordable Connectivity Program.
Now through February 7, residents that enroll and are approved will get assistance paying for internet services and connected devices. Benefits run through April 2024, when funding will likely run out. Funding was not allotted for the program this year.
Households who applied for and were approved for assistance before February 8 will continue to get benefits until the funding runs out, if they stay enrolled. Once the funding runs out, they'll no longer get the discount.
For help enrolling in the program, click here or call or text 574-318-9018. Enrollments won’t be processed after 11:59 p.m. on February 7.
