South Bend salon goes up in flames

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Firefighters rushed to put out flames at a South Bend hair salon.

The fire started at the Perfect Touch Beauty Shop on Western Avenue around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday 

Police blocked off the roads for nearly an hour while firefighters put out the blaze.

Firefighters say there's a significant amount of smoke damage on the inside of the building. The estimated the damage is $10,000

No one was inside the building or hurt while putting out the fire.
