South Bend school board to address Sniadecki censure

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Community School Board will hold a meeting on Friday to censure board member Bill Sniadecki.

Board president Roger Parent said it's concerning misconduct in office and members said they think he's acted illegally more than once.

Sniadecki denies doing anything wrong, but board members claim he regularly violated board and state law.

A 38-page document presented at a board meeting in early October called for him to drop his title.  In those documents it said Sniadecki yelled at employees in a way making them fear for their safety.

Parent is the one who called Friday night’s meeting.

The two of them have been at odds since Sniadecki voiced concerns about things said at an executive session involving closing three schools.
