SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- One of the victims from a deadly shooting outside of Corby's Pub on Niles Avenue has been arrested on gun charges. 25-year-old Jarell Seuell, of Benton Harbor, was initially listed in as a victim following the shooting that killed 32-year-old Christopher Chism and injured one other person early Sunday morning.
According to charging documents, police found Seuell in a car attempting to leave the scene of the shooting. Police say he was bleeding from one or more gunshot wounds. Before he was taken to the hospital, police found a loaded gun on him. That gun was reported stolen. Seuell is also a convicted felon. He was convicted of felony Retail Fraud in Detroit in 2015.
It's not clear if he is a suspect in the murder at this point. ABC57 reached out to the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit to see if Seuell was being treated as a suspect of person of interest, detectives have not returned our messages. It's also not clear if Seuell fired his gun at all during the incident.
