South Bend sixth grader rewarded for her creativity

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — A South Bend sixth grader is being rewarded for her creativity.
Madelyn Kanczuzewski is a finalist in the Doodle 4 Google competition.
The theme this year is "your best day ever."
Madelyn, who is home schooled, says she would go back to ancient times and show them how to build a fire extinguisher.
"The Library of Alexandria being burnt down like set us back a thousand years of knowledge that we could have had," said Kanczuzewski.
The winner gets a $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology grant.
