South Bend unveils new "All-America" quilt

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend has a new quilt and it's being displayed with pride.

South Bend beat out dozens of other cities and was named the nation's "All-America City" last year. Along with that honor, came the sewing of a unique quilt.

Monday it was unveiled to the public.

“This quilt demonstrates that South Bend is in the company of some of the finest, proactive, coordinated  and forward-looking communities in America,” said South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

The city's quilt will now travel throughout the country.
