SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Vets Community Connections hosted an appreciation event for veterans in South Bend on Friday.
Vets Community Connections partnered with Goodwill to host the rally to help vets in the area.
The rally provided resources and services such as employment, educational opportunities and veteran administration services to vets and military families.
“It is our way to say thank you to the vets in South Bend and the surrounding area… This is just not for just vets in need, this is for vets. You have served, you have given so much let us give something very small back as a token of appreciation to you,” Debie Coble said.
This is the 7th year the organization has held the event but it was the first time held in South Bend.
