South Shore announces Notre Dame game day train services

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Shore Line announced train service times for University of Notre Dame 2021 home football games, with South Bend Transpo offering free shuttle buses between the South Bend International Airport and Notre Dame Stadium on game days.

7:30 p.m. ET kick-off times (October 23 & 30)

  • Free shuttle bus service between the airport and the stadium
  • Train #503 arrives at the airport at 12:10 p.m. ET and Train #505 arrives at 5:06 p.m. ET
    • Passengers can board a Transpo bus near the South Shore train platform, and will be dropped off near the Eck Visitors Center on campus
  • Following the game, an extra train will run departing the airport 90 minutes following the end of the game
    • Transpo will be at the drop-off location on campus and leave with passengers one hour after the end of the game to go to the airport

2:30 p.m. & 3:30 p.m. ET kick-off times (September 11 & 18, October 2, and November 6 & 20)

  • Free shuttle bus service between the airport and the stadium
  • Train #503 arrives at the airport at 12:10 p.m. ET
    • Passengers can board a Transpo bus near the South Shore train platform, and will be dropped off near the Eck Visitors Center on campus
  • For the return trip, the regular westbound weekend train service will operate, noting that Train #508 leaves the airport at 5:45 p.m. ET, and Train #510 leaves at 10:16 p.m. ET
    • Transpo will be at the drop-off location on campus and leave at 8:30 p.m. ET to meet Train #510

Service times for the September 25 game at Soldier Field against Wisconsin will be announced in the coming weeks.
