South Shore Line expanding Kids Ride Free program

The South Shore Line (SSL) is expanding its Kids Ride Free program from Mar. 23 to Apr.6, 2019.

Children aged three to 13 who are accompanied by a paying adult can participate in the program.

The goal of the Kids Ride Free program is to provide affordable travel options for families.

Director of Capital Investment and Implementation Nicole Barker said, “Spring break doesn’t have to mean traveling far from home. Our goal is to make travel more affordable and see more families taking advantage of this family-friendly offer. There are so many exciting places, events and attractions to explore along the SSL. We hope that families create great memories right here in Northwest Indiana, Chicago and South Bend.”
