SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Shore Line is set to expand its Kids Ride Free program to include all trains and times from Friday, Dec. 19 through to Friday, Jan. 2, 2026.

Under the expanded Kids Ride Free program, up to three children aged 13 or under may ride any train for free when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The program has been expanded to include free rides on weekend, holiday, off-peak, and rush hour trains.

The South Shore Line runs between the South Bend International Airport and Millennium Station in downtown Chicago.
