South Shore Line suspends trains Friday night

Due to issues with overhead wires, hazardous weather and mechanical issues, all remaining westbound train service is suspended on Friday.

WB Tr 18 is the last train into Chicago.

All remaining eastbound trains are also suspended, with the exception of two eastbound departures from Millennium Station: EB Tr 111 will leave at 4:02pm and EB Tr 119 will leave at 5:58pm.

After Tr 119, there is no remaining eastbound service on Friday.

EB Tr 109 passengers will be bused to stations east from East Chicago.

Updates about service for Saturday will be made as they become available.
