South Shore service suspended due to train derailment

SOUTH BEND, Ind. —  A train derailment in Michigan City has suspended service between South Bend and Chicago.

The Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District said that there were no injuries as a result of the derailment. Service was suspended throughout the  the morning rush hour commute, but has returned to normal.
