Southold Dance Theater celebrates 50 years with free Summer Showcase Saturday

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Southold Dance Theater announced, in celebration of their 50th anniversary season, they will hold a free Summer Showcase at the Chris Wilson Pavilion in Potawatomi Park on Saturday at 7 p.m.
The public are invited to come out and enjoy the special outdoor performance.
Organizers say you'll see the work of Southold's summer intensive students, showcasing choreography created by both distinguished guest artists and accomplished staff teachers.
The performances are said to range from jazz, modern, neoclassical, and classical ballet
"Our Summer Showcase offers the community a wonderful opportunity to witness the incredible progress and talent of our summer intensive students," said Sarah Taylor, Executive Director of Southold Dance Theater. "This performance highlights the diverse range of dance styles we teach and the creative collaboration between our students and choreographers. As we celebrate our 50th year, we're excited to bring dance to this beautiful outdoor venue!"
