Southwest Enforcement Team arrests suspected drug dealers

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Southwest Enforcement Team West detectives, along with the Berrien County Sheriff's Department arrested three people on drug charges and a fourth on a bond violation over the course of three days.

On March 20, Kennion Williams, 31, was arrested on charges of delivery of heroin and resisting and obstructing police.

On March 21, SWET West detectives and the Berrien County Sheriff's Department served a search warrant at 1293 Parkway as a result of an ongoing investigation.

Detectives seized crack cocaine packaged for sale, a stolen handgun and other items related to the distribution of narcotics, police said.

Sylvester Davis III, 34, was arrested on 9 narcotics delivery charges and weapons offenses.

Leonard Robinson, 39, was arrested on bond violations from unrelated drug charges, police said.

On March 22, Michael Talbert, 47, was arrested on several charges of delivery of crack cocaine following a 3 week investigation, reports said.
