Southwest engine incident cause of death released

A woman was killed when aboard a Dallas-bound Southwest Airlines flight on Tuesday, the cause of death was released Wednesday.

The Philadelphia Department of Public Health determined the woman’s cause of death was from a “blunt impact trauma of the head, neck, and torso.”

According to the department, the manner of death is listed as an accident.
