Spay Day South Bend

The 18th Annual Spay Day USA will take place on 2/28/12. South Bend Animal Care and Control (SBACC) and CARE of South Bend (CARE) have partnered with The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) to celebrate this national day of action, here in our community. We invite the community to join us in one or all of the following ways:
1. Register to have your pet spayed or neutered.
2. Sponsor the spay or neuter of at least one animal - a friend or family members or a shelter animal awaiting adoption.
3. Join the South Bend Common Council on Monday, February 27th, at 7 pm for a ceremony acknowledging Spay Day and honoring all the participating agencies.
4. Tune in on Tuesday, February 28th, at 8 a.m. when Dr. Jolynn Rudman, DVM, kicks off Spay Day on the campus of Brown Mackie College.
