Special Olympics Indiana asks for volunteers for inaugural Cornhole Tournament

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- Special Olympics Indiana announced they need volunteers to help with their very first Cornhole Tournament happening on Sept. 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Michigan City.

There will be several Special Olympics Indiana Marshall-Starke County teams, known as the Corn Dawgs, participating in the event, coached by Angie and Dave Banicki.

You can sign up to volunteer online and select which time slots you'd like to help with.

Officials say confirmation emails will be sent after registering and again a few days before the event with any last-minute details and updates. 

The tournament will be at 3848 Frontage Rd.
