Speeding truck hits parked truck on U.S. 20, causes rollover

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- An allegedly speeding Dodge Ram pickup crashed into a Ford F250 pickup stopped at a traffic light around 7:49 a.m. Monday morning at the intersection of U.S. 20 and C.R. 200 E., the LaGrange County Sheriff's Department reported. 

"The Dodge Ram was traveling [west] at an unsafe speed and was following to close to a vehicle that was slowing down to make a left turn on to C.R. 200 E.," the LCSD said. "The Dodge Ram went off the north side of the roadway to avoid striking the vehicle and struck the Ford F250 that was stopped at the intersection causing it to flip over."

The driver and passage of the Ford F250 were taken to LaGrange Parkview Hospital for complains to their left side of their body.

The driver of the Dodge, 45-year-old Clint Renkenberger of Kendallville, Ind., was uninjured.
