St Joseph Alumni take final stroll through the halls

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- School is out for summer.

But, Sunday, the doors were not locked at the what is now the "old" Saint Joseph's High School.

Saint Joe opened it's doors for one last time at their 1441address before the big move to its new high school site on Notre Dame Avenue.

Alums made their way through their old stomping grounds for one last walk down their old halls.

"I spent more than half my life in the building. There's a lot of tradition here, there are a lot of memories, especially for me here, having been here as long as I have been," said Henry Chandler, a class of 1967  graduate and Social Studies teacher at St. Joe.
