St. Joseph County deputies investigating fatal crash on M-86

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. - Deputies with the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office are investigating a fatal crash on M-86 Tuesday.
According to reports, a vehicle was traveling east on M-86, near Holtom Road, when it skidded and ran off the road, hitting a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, identified as 25-year-old Larry Scott, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
Scott was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident, according to reports.
