St. Joseph County deputies looking for bank robber

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Right now, St. Joseph County deputies are still looking for the man they say held up a bank.

They said a man walked into the Mutual Bank off State Road 2, just north of Mayflower Road, and demanded money.

It happened just before 5 p.m.

Police say he took off in a white late model Nissan Maxima 4-door sedan.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late 40s. He was around 6-feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a blue jacket, tan pants, a black stocking cap, and a gray t-shirt with the word "Hawaii" on the front. He was also wearing glasses and had a mustache.
