St. Joseph County Fair comes to an end

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County 4H Fair is almost ready to close up shop for another year.

When we got there they were just finishing up their last few activities including a concert Saturday night featuring Here Come the Mummies!

It's the last concert of the fair and is free with a paid midway admission!

Overall, organizers say attendance has been down this year due to heat.

"We started the week out fantastic, we were up, great crowds for the first four days. But the last four days have been pretty slow.  And it's understandable.  The heat-when you're getting up in the 95, 100 degree area, for an event like this heat is worse than rain," said Lee Slavinskas, President of the Fair Board.

Organizers hope the weather will be a bit cooler next year.
