St. Joseph County has 138 cases of COVID-19

The St. Joseph County Health Department says there are 138 cases of COVID-19 in the county.

Officials said their average turn around time for test results has decreased for recent test results to 1-2 days.

Health officials also believe the peak COVID-19 activity in the area is several weeks away. They remind residents to stay home and stay safe.

If you have been tested, you must stay home and self-isolate.

If you have COVID-19, you must stay in isolation until at least 7 days have passed since symptom onset and are free of fever for 72 hours and respiratory symptoms have improved.

Indiana: 5,507 cases, 173 deaths

  • Elkhart Co.: 43 cases, 3 deaths
  • Fulton Co.: 3 cases
  • Kosciusko Co.: 14 cases
  • La Grange Co.: 6 cases, 1 death
  • LaPorte Co.: 25 cases, 3 deaths
  • Marshall Co.: 10 cases
  • Pulaski: 1 case
  • St. Joseph Co.: 138 cases, 1 death, 20 recovered
  • Starke Co.: 5 cases
