St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit investigating a deadly shooting in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is investigating a deadly shooting in South Bend.
St. Joseph County Dispatch says it happened Sunday in the 600 block of Liberty St. around 12:43 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male inside the home who appeared to have been shot.
Medical personnel responded and pronounced the man, 28 year old Huey Hudson Jr., dead at the scene.
The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is investigating at this time and no arrests have been made.
