ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Department of Health announced there are 6 new cases of COVID-19 and announced the county's first death.
St. Joseph County has a total of 28 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The health department says the patient who died was in his 80s and had other health conditions.
Correction: This story has been updated to reflect a correction by the Department of Health. They originally reported 7 new cases of COVID-19, but there are only 6 new cases.
