St. Joseph County Police Department receives K9 body armor donation

ST. JOSPEH COUNTY, Ind. – Monti, a K9 with the St. Joseph County Police Department, received a protective vest courtesy of a donation via Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

Embroidered in the vest is the phrase “Honoring those who served and sacrificed”.

Vested Interest is a non-profit organization located in Massachusetts. They have partnered with numerous law enforcement agencies since they were established in 2009.

They have provided 3,500 protective K9 vests to law enforcement in all 50 states at a total value of $6.9 million.

A donation of $950 will provide one protective vest for a K9.
