UPDATE: On April 14, the St. Jospeh County Police Department announced that 72-year-old Warren Sweezey has been arrested. He was wanted for Domestic Violence and failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

"A huge thank you to our Warrants Team for their outstanding work in this investigation," the SJCPD said. "Their efforts led to Sweezey being located in Lawton, Michigan, where they coordinated with local authorities to safely make the arrest."

ORIGINAL FROM MARCH 11: ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department announced their Sex Offender Registry Unit is actively searching 72-year-old Warren Sweezey, who has failed to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

Police say every year, sex offenders in the county are required to report to the jail to update their information, including addresses and phone numbers.

Sweezey is six feet tall.

Authorities say his last known address is 1044 Lincolnway West in South Bend, but he may be homeless now.
