St. Joseph County restricts access to County-City Building, Mishawaka Annex
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners is restricting access to the County-City Building and the Mishawaka Annex Building to the general public as of Monday morning.
Although access to the general public will be restricted, county offices are open and employees are working.
Visitors to the County-City Building must check in at the counter in the lobby. The person working the counter will contact the proper department. That department will assist the visitor over the phone or may come to the lobby to provide assistance.
If you have business with the courts, use the drop boxes in Courthouse 1 at 101 S. Main Street.
Access to the Mishawaka Annex is limited to official court business and Health Department offices.
During this time, the Health Department’s Immunization Clinics in both buildings will remain open, and members of the public are allowed access to the clinics for vaccinations.
In addition, County Park offices at St. Patrick’s, Ferrettie-Baugo Creek and Bendix Woods County Park will be closed to walk-in public traffic beginning Monday. The offices remain open to serve the public via phone or email.
The Parks, including Spicer Lake Nature Preserve, remain open at this time, however, public restrooms playgrounds and drinking fountains will be closed effective Monday.
The City of South Bend – St. Joseph County Archives building is also closed to in-person walk-in traffic.
