Island of Blues returns to Island Park, draws crowd in Elkhart
ST. JOSEPH, Mich.—The St. Joseph Farmers Market opened up for the 2019 season on Satuday at Lake Bluff Park.
Items like jam, honey, bread, pastries, flowers, vegetables, coffee and more were available for shoppers.
Katherine Shuler, a vendor for Farmhouse Favorites, said that the products at the market were baked “hours ago” and those who choose to shop at the market are supporting the local economy.
“You’re interacting with people on a daily basis so it’s really the interaction in that engagement that really helps in the community and creates those relationships,” Shuler said.
The market will be open every Saturday from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. until October 12.
