St. Joseph harbor receives emergency dredge funds

ST JOSEPH, Mich. — The St. Joseph harbor will see more emergency funding needed to dredge.

Friday, congressman Fred Upton joined the US Army Corps of Engineers to announce that funding.

The harbor has become inaccessible to commercial traffic due to severe shallow water.

Upton said in a press release that it is critical that our local harbors are well-maintained and open for business.
