St Joseph high school dedication ceremony

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- Hundreds of people gathered at the new Saint Joseph High School this morning for the official blessing and dedication ceremony.


The event took place on the football field where Catholic dignitaries and city leaders gathered.


Including bishop Kevin Rhodes and mayor Pete Buttigieg.


"On Aug. 30th the 1st day of classes, students, facility, and staff will embark of another year of fulfilling our mission, transforming our students in heart and mind to serve God, the church and the world," said Susan Richter.


The 1st football game that will be held in the new football stadium will be on september 7-th against elkhart central.
