St. Joseph hosting annual Magical Ice Fest Feb. 5-7

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. -- St. Joseph will be hosting its annual Magical Ice Fest from February 5 through 7. The event will feature ice sculpture competitions, a SnowBiz scavenger hunt and ice interactives.

The professional individual carving competition will begin Friday from 5-8 p.m. along Pleasant Street.

You can also participate in the scavenger hunt by picking up a map at the St. Joseph Today Welcome Center.

On Saturday the professional team carving competition will be held along State Street from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Teams of two will transform 8 blocks of ice into a sculpture.

At 9 a.m. runners and walkers can participate in the Ice Fest 5K Chocolate Walk/Run. For more information on the 5K, click here.

Ice interactives will be available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and includes the frozen fish toss and ice tic-tac-toe.
