St. Joseph road closures for Krasl Art Fair starting July 8

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. – Road and parking closures will be in place beginning Friday for the 2022 Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff, the St. Joseph Department of Public Safety announced.

Beginning at 6 a.m. on Friday, Lake Boulevard will be closed from Ship Street to Park Street.

The west half of the 500 block of Broad Street will also be closed.

The following parking lots will be closed early on Saturday and Sunday for artist parking but will open again for general parking at 10 a.m.:

  • City parking lot #1
  • City parking lot #3
  • City parking lot #5
  • City parking lot #6
  • City parking lot #10
  • City parking lot #11

There will also be a neighborhood no-parking zone in place on Saturday and Sunday.

The zone is bordered by Broad to the north, Sutherland Avenue and Hoyt Street to the south, Lake Boulevard to the west and Wayne Street to the east.

Streets that run north-south will have no parking on the east side and streets running east-west will have no parking on the south side.

There will be no shuttle buses this year.

Art fair attendees are asked to find street parking.

No pets are allowed at the fair.
