Third public meeting held on Portage Manor ecological study
BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Live munitions training and tests will be held by the St. Joseph Township Police in Berrien County on Tuesday at the site of the former Berrien Hills Golf Course.
The township released a warning to the community that a police-presence will be active in the area, and that while there will be audible gunfire, there is no threat.
This training will happen between the hours of 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and officers are available for questions regarding the situation.
