SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Hundreds of people gathered for the Annual St. Margaret's Winter Walk in Downtown South Bend.
The annual fundraiser is for raising awareness of the women and children that must brave harsh conditions in order to access local services.
The walk began at the South Bend County City Building and ended one mile down the road at St. Margaret's House.
Mayor Pete Buttigieg and many other volunteers form the center took part in the charitable event, while also helping the organization raise nearly $65,000.
