St. Mary's College sends graduates into the real world

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- It's official; St. Mary's class of 2012 has graduated!

Now, students are ready to take on the real world.

They are ready to get working, and, the news is good.

Compared to last year, there is a significant spike in the number of graduates who already have jobs lined up.

A total of 414 students graduated from St. Mary's College on Saturday.

"Every spring our career crossings office here at the College interviews the class, the graduating class, and asks them a number of questions including whether they have a job. And compared to last year, 50 percent more have jobs than a year ago," said Gwen O'Brien, Director of Media Relations, St. Mary's College.

Congratulations to all of the graduating seniors.
