Stanford holds on to win 27-20 over Notre Dame

STANFORD, Calif. --- Notre Dame couldn't pull out a win Saturday against Stanford. Notre Dame lost 27-20.
Stanford held Notre Dame to 263 total yards. Notre Dame allowed 419 total yards and 261 yards were rushing yards.
Tommy Rees threw for 199 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Notre Dame drops to 8-4 on the season and Stanford improves to 10-2.
