ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation announced Monday that SR 23 will have a closure between U.S. 6 and U.S. 30 beginning July 19.

SR 23 will be closed along this stretch for three locations receiving culvert replacements.

These locations include just south of CR 600 North, just north of CR 650 North and at Union Road.

The department estimates that these projects will take approximately two weeks depending on the weather conditions.

Motorists are suggested to follow an official detour route that will follow U.S. 30, U.S. 31 and U.S. 6.
