FIRST WARNING NEIGHBORHOOD WX FORECAST
Monday, July 1st, 2019
The summertime pattern of heat and humidity will continue through the week with highs in the middle and upper 80s. The main difference between this week and the past few days is an uptick in shower and thunderstorm chances. The likelihood of thunderstorms is running at 40-50% each day from Tuesday thru Saturday.
It’s still unlikely that we see an all-day rain on any given day, but the chances for daily storms are higher. Any time we see a storm, it could be strong to marginally severe with heavy rain, lightning, small hail, and strong winds.
Cooler, less humid air is looking increasingly likely by Sunday into early next week with lower rain and storm chances.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, a stray thunderstorm possible. Low of 71.
Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy, scattered late thunderstorms. High of 87.
Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy, scattered thunderstorms. High of 86.
Thursday: Partly to mostly cloudy, scattered thunderstorms. High of 87.
