NOW: Still cold but the warm-up begins

The warm-up will be slow but there will be a warm-up through the weekend. Clouds are slow to break but sunshine looks more likely by Friday and lasting through the weekend. The snow pack is a big reason why temperatures are slow to warm as white snow, besides being cold, also reflects sunlight.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Chance of flurries. Low of 22.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy. High of 34.

Friday: Mostly sunny. High of 36.

Saturday: Mostly sunny. High of 38.
