Stolen property investigation leads to drug bust with 6 arrests in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team reports detectives were working alongside Berrien County detectives on an investigation regarding stolen property on Monday.

The detectives located the stolen property at an address in the 24000 block of Peavine Street in LaGrange Township.

Upon further investigation, authorities found a large amount of methamphetamine, and methamphetamine paraphernalia.

Detectives then arrested a 37-year-old man for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, a 35-year-old man for possession of methamphetamine, a 29-year-old woman for possession of methamphetamine, a 21-year-old man for outstanding warrants, a 39-year-old man for outstanding warrants, and a 37-year-old woman for outstanding warrants. 

Authorities are requesting charges on other suspects in reference to possession of stolen property.

The suspect’s names are withheld pending arraignment on the charges in the 4th district court.

The investigation is ongoing.
