ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Friday, August 30, 2024
A few showers and thunderstorms are likely this evening, and one or two could be strong to severe. Gusty winds and small hail are the main threats we're monitoring. There could be some impacts to high school football across Michiana, so it's a good idea to have the ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Mobile Weather App ready to go. A few showers could linger into early Saturday morning, but we'll see decreasing clouds through lunchtime. Overall, Labor Day weekend looks really nice, with highs near 80 degrees Saturday and Sunday and plenty of sunshine. Labor Day will be even cooler, with highs in the middle 70s. The only downside: there could be high waves on Lake Michigan at times during the holiday weekend, with the most dangerous conditions expected on Sunday. We'll likely stay dry until the end of next week.
Tonight: Scattered showers/thunderstorms. Some could be strong. Low 66.
Tomorrow: A few showers possible early in the morning. Otherwise, decreasing clouds and less humid. High 82.
Sunday: Mostly sunny and a little breezy. High waves on Lake Michigan. High 80.
Labor Day Monday: Mostly sunny. High 76.
