ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Friday, June 28, 2024
The rest of Friday will stay mostly cloudy with light to moderate rain showers here and there as a warm front approaches the region. This will increase humidity drastically tonight and on Saturday, and also allow the formation of more thunderstorms tonight ahead of a cold front. Severe weather is not expected tonight, but gusty winds and heavy downpours are possible, especially from 3-8am Saturday. Lows tonight will struggle to get cooler than the low 70s. Skies will slowly clear Saturday afternoon with highs in the mid 80s with continued humidity. A very isolated shower/storm is possible Saturday evening, otherwise mostly clear skies develop. Sunday will feel very cool with highs around 70, so most of the day will only be in the 60s under mostly sunny skies. It will be breezy Sunday and conditions at Lake Michigan will be very dangerous with waves up to 7 feet. Highs return in the 80s by Tuesday with a stalled front bringing daily storm chances Tuesday through Saturday.
Tonight: Thunderstorms and muggy. Low 72.
Saturday: Morning showers and storms with afternoon clearing. High 86.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, breezy, and cool. High 70.
Monday: Mostly sunny and pleasant. High 77.
