ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, May 7th , 2023
Sunday will start off stormy for Michiana. Leftover showers and thunderstorms from the overnight hours will linger around Michiana until the late morning, but will clear out early in the afternoon. With the rain gone, partly cloudy skies will take over as the sun returns, warming temperatures up into the high 70s for Sunday's high. The late day dry stretch will be short as thunderstorms roll into the area just after midnight, kicking off a wet Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will be more sporadic, popping up and dissipating just as quickly with brief downpours and higher wind gust values as the primary threats. Rain will keep temperatures at the surface cool with highs in the low 70s on Monday. No severe threat is anticipated with any storms on Sunday or Monday. Residual showers and storms will last into Monday night but completely move out of Michiana by Tuesday morning, marking the beginning of a mid-week dry stretch with highs staying in the low 70s and mostly cloudy skies.
Today: AM showers. High 77.
Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms late. Low 56.
Monday: Thunderstorms. High 72.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. High 71.
