Strong storms roll through Michiana

These are the latest damage reports and power outages as a result of Wednesday night's storms.

Damage reports

 

As of 4:30 a.m. Thursday:
Kosciusko County: Silver Lake - reports of downed trees in the roads.
Fulton County: No damage reported
Pulaski County: No damage reported
Starke County: Multiple reports of trees and power lines down in the southern portion of the county (Bass Lake area)
Marshall County: Few roads were blocked due to trees/limbs down, have already been cleaned up
Elkhart County: Few reports of trees/limbs down, no major damage reported
LaGrange County: One report of a tree in a roadway, no other reports
Berrien County: No damage reported
Cass County: Minimal damage reported from some trees falling

Power outages

 

As of 6:30 a.m., there were 8,600 customers without power.

LaPorte: 100
St. Joseph: 3,600

Michigan
Berrien: 2,000
Cass: 150
Van Buren: Less than 100
