Residential fire near Lincolnway West in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Crews are at the scene of a residential fire near Lincolnway West and Lawndale Avenue.
Dispatch was called about the fire in the 700 block of Lawndale Avenue at around 11:13 a.m.
The fire took place inside a two-story house.
Everyone is out of the house and accounted for, dispatch said.
Officials are asking motorists to avoid Lincolnway West westbound in this area while crews work.
