Student loan debt affecting older Americans

Many Americans struggle with student loan debt and it’s not just affecting the twentysomething age group.

A new article in the Los Angeles Times suggests this isn't just a problem for those in their 20's anymore. It said that many Americans who took out loans several decades ago continue to struggle to pay it off.

An estimated 37 million Americans are still holding on to student loan debt and 12 million are over the age of 40.
