Student suffers fractured cheekbone after alleged attack at school

ELKHART, Ind. – Two teenagers were arrested on Monday after allegedly attacking another student at an Elkhart middle school, the Elkhart Police Department reported.

At 10:29 a.m., officers were called to Pierre Moran Middle School for reports of a battery.

According to reports, two students attacked another student, police said. Staff called the police after they were not able to separate the students.

The victim sustained injuries including a fractured cheekbone.

Two girls, a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old, were arrested for battery.
