SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The IU South Bend campus experienced a power outage Monday night as students were taking their finals exams.
The outage lasted from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., causing a disruption for test takers.
The school says the outage happened after a utility pole caught on fire.
The school had to close the campus for the night.
There were exams that were rescheduled, but some were some taken during the power outage.
Power was back on for the campus on Tuesday.
