Summer Concert Series brings tunes to Potawatomi Park

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Potawatomi Park filled with music this evening, as they held another round of their Summer Concert Series, this time featuring 'Michiana String Collective'.

Plenty of community members flooded the 'Chris Wilson Pavilion', enjoying the Americana music put out by the Michiana String Collective, which features between 10 to 12 members, but tonight the quartet version made an appearance.

ABC57 caught up with the band this evening, who tell us South Bend is one of the richest musical areas they've been too!

"Big thank you to our community. It's one of the richest musical areas that I've been a part of. So just thanks to South Bend and everybody that comes out, but especially to the parks department for hosting," stated Jetta Cruse.

If you couldn't make it out to tonight, Potawatomi Park will be back next Sunday, July 20, with another free concert for the community to enjoy.

Their next outing set to feature 'The Hipposonics'.
